You may consult any of the Doctors but we would prefer you to see the same Doctor for each particular problem. Surgeries are arranged every morning, afternoon and evening Monday to Friday by appointment.  You will be offered the first available appointment, but if you have an urgent problem you will always be seen on the day, although not necessarily by the Doctor of your choice. If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know in good time, so that it may be offered to someone else.

Doctors' Surgeries are arranged every morning, afternoon and evening, Monday to Friday by appointment. Appointments with the Practice Nurse are also available morning, afternoon and evening, Monday to Friday but cannot be booked online owing to the varying lengths of appointments for different procedures.

Appointments (with the Doctor or Practice Nurse) can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

If you are 20 minutes late or more, then the Doctor or Nurse will not see you and you will have to rebook your appointment. If you are up to 20 minutes late then they will see you but you may have to wait until the end of their surgery. This is only fair to those patients who have kept their appointment time, otherwise everybody will end up being seen late.

Please note, in the interests of all parties, telephone calls to all our surgery telephone numbers are recorded for monitoring and training purposes.

On-line Appointment Booking 

EMIS Access is a web based system that allows:

• Appointment booking/cancellation
• Repeat Prescription requests
• Messaging - send message directly to the surgery. 

To use the service you have to be registered with Surgery and you will need the following:

• Our Practice ID number
• your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
• your Password
• your NHS number

Please come to the Surgery in person and speak to the Receptionists. You will be given a Registration Letter with your unique registration details that you  should keep safe.

Home Visits

Patients whose illness prevents them from coming to the Surgery, can be visited in their own homes. However, on average, seeing you at home takes four times as long as seeing you in the Surgery, so please come along if you can.

Please note that visits are offered on clinical grounds alone. Patients who are well enought to attend surgery are kindly requested to make appropriate transport arrangements.

For home visits, please telephone the Surgery before 10am if possible. It is helpful if you can indicate the nature and urgency of your call to the receptionist.
