Dr Stuart Nelson (m) MBBS (London 1983), DCH, DRCOG.DFFP, FRCGP. Dr Nelson qualified at St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1983. He joined the Practice in 1989 and is the Senior Partner, a GP Trainer and Appraiser. Dr Nelson has a special interest in Diabetes and works as a Hospital Practitioner at Cheltenham General Hospital Diabetic Clinic. He is also a member of the Severn Faculty of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Nelson was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in November 2005. He is also the Medical Officer to Cheltenham Ladies' College. |
Dr Sarah Moliver (f) MBChB (Bristol 1980), DA, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP. Dr Moliver is a part-time Partner at Overton Park Surgery. Dr Moliver trained at Bristol University qualifying in 1980. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but is particularly interested in Rheumatology, Acupuncture, Psychiatry and Medicine for the Elderly. Dr Moliver's qualifications are MBChB, Diploma in Anaesthetics (DA), Diploma in Child Health (DCH), Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and Membership of the Royal College of GPs (MRCGP). |
Dr Julian Wilson (m) MBBS (London 1987), DRCOG, DIP.PALL.MED, FRCGP. Dr Wilson qualified at St. Thomas's Hospital London in 1987. He is a Royal College Examiner and a Trainer of GP Registrars. He is also a Police Surgeon for Gloucestershire Constabulary. Dr Wilson's clinical interests include Ischaemic Heart Disease, Diabetes and Palliative Care. Dr Wilson was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in May 2006. |
Dr Caroline Copps (f) MBChB (Sheffield 1990), DRCOG.DFFP, DIP.THER. Dr Copps qualified at Sheffield University in 1990. She worked as as GP Partner in Cardiff for 5 years before moving to Cheltenham in 2001 to join Overton Park Surgery. Dr Copps' special interests include Family Planning, Women's Health and Pharmacology. |
Dr Thomas Morgan (m) MBBS (London 1992), DRCOG, MRCGP. Dr Morgan qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London in 1992. He worked as a GP Partner in Fleet, Hampshire for 6 years before moving to Gloucestershire. He joined Overton Park Surgery in 2005. Dr Morgan is a trained endoscopist and holds a Clinical Assistant post in Endoscopy at Gloucester Royal Hospital. |
Dr Rachael Coker (f) MBChB (Birmingham 2002), MRCGP,DCH, DRCOG, DFFP Dr Coker qualified at Birmingham University in 2002. She moved to Cheltenham in 2003 and joined the local GP training scheme. She spent her registrar year at Overton Park Surgery. Dr Coker is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially Paediatrics. |
Dr Trudy Christmas (f) MBBS (London 1996), BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG.DFFP. Dr Christmas works 1.5 days a week as a salaried GP. She qualified at St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1996. Dr Christmas moved to Cheltenham in 1997 and joined the local GP training scheme, spending her registrar year at Overton Park Surgery. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially Women's Health. |
Dr Amanda Porter (f) MBBS (London) 1995, BSc, MRCGP, FRCA, DRCOG Dr Porter qualified at St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London in 1995. After a number of years working as an Anaesthetist, she changed career to GP. She completed the Gloucestershie GP training scheme and joined Overton Park Surgery in December 2008 as a GP retainer working 3 sessions per week. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice. |
Dr Ben Soden (m)
MBBS (London 2001), MRCP (UK), DRCOG Dr Soden joined the Practice in August 2011 as a GP Registrar. He qualified at St. George's Hospital Medical School, London, in 2001. Before changing career to General Practice he spent a number of years working in gastroenterology, and also worked in several other branches of adult medicine. |
Dr Noreen Khan (f)
MBBCh, DOHNS Dr Khan qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, in 2006. She did her junior doctor training in South and West Wales before moving to Cheltenham in 2009 to do her General Practice training. She joined the Practice in August 2011 as a GP Registrar and will be here for a year. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially in Ear, Nose and Throat. |
