Dr Stuart Nelson (m)

MBBS (London 1983), DCH, DRCOG.DFFP, FRCGP.

GP Partner.

Dr Nelson qualified at St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1983. He joined the Practice in 1989 and is the Senior Partner, a GP Trainer and Appraiser. Dr Nelson has a special interest in Diabetes and was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in November 2005. He is the current Treasurer of Gloucestershire GP Educational Trust.

Dr Julian Wilson (m)

MBBS (London 1987), DRCOG, DIP.PALL.MED, FRCGP.

GP Partner.

Dr Wilson qualified at St. Thomas's Hospital London in 1987. He is a Royal College Examiner. Dr Wilson's clinical interests include Ischaemic Heart Disease, Diabetes and Palliative Care as well as Immediate Care in Sport. Dr Wilson was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in May 2006. He is the General Practitioner for Gloucester Rugby Club.

Dr Caroline Copps (f)

MBChB (Sheffield 1990), DRCOG.DFFP, DIP.THER.

GP Partner.

Dr Copps qualified at Sheffield University in 1990. She worked as as GP Partner in Cardiff for 5 years before moving to Cheltenham in 2001 to join Overton Park Surgery. Dr Copps' special interests include Family Planning, Women's Health and Pharmacology.

Dr Thomas Morgan (m)

MBBS (London 1992), DRCOG, MRCGP.

GP Partner.

Dr Morgan qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London in 1992. He worked as a GP Partner in Fleet, Hampshire for 6 years before moving to Gloucestershire. He joined Overton Park Surgery in 2005. Dr Morgan is a trained endoscopist and holds a Clinical Assistant post in Endoscopy at Gloucester Royal Hospital.

Dr Rachael Coker (f)

MBChB (Birmingham 2002), MRCGP,DCH, DRCOG, DFFP

GP Partner.

Dr Coker qualified at Birmingham University in 2002. She moved to Cheltenham in 2003 and joined the local GP training scheme. She spent her registrar year at Overton Park Surgery. Dr Coker is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially Paediatrics.

 

Dr Daniel Fox (m)

MBBS (London 2009)

GP Partner.

Dr Fox studied at St Georges Medical School, London on the graduate-entry scheme. He moved to Cheltenham for GP training in 2011 and spent his Registrar (final) year at Overton Park Surgery. Now he is fully qualified as a GP we are delighted to have Dr Fox with us as a permanent member of the Overton Park Surgery Team. Dr Fox has an interest in Dermatology and will be holding cryotherapy and minor surgery clinics at the practice.

Dr Trudy Christmas (f)

MBBS (London 1996), BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG.DFFP.

Salaried GP.

Dr Christmas works 1.5 days a week as a salaried GP. She qualified at St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1996. Dr Christmas moved to Cheltenham in 1997 and joined the local GP training scheme, spending her registrar year at Overton Park Surgery. She work 3 sessions a week at the surgery and is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially Women's Health.

Dr Amanda Porter (f)

MBBS (London) 1995, BSc, MRCGP, FRCA, DRCOG

Salaried GP.

Dr Porter qualified at St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London in 1995. After a number of years working as an Anaesthetist, she changed career to GP. She completed the Gloucestershie GP training scheme and joined Overton Park Surgery in December 2008 as a GP retainer working 3 sessions per week. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice.

Salaried GP.

Dr Macrow joined the practice in December 2015 moving from her previous GP post at Hilary Cottage Surgery, Fairford. Sarah works 4 sessions a week at Overton park - all day Monday and all day Wednesday.

Dr Michael Williams (m)

BSc MBBCh MRCGP 

Salaried GP.

Dr Williams completed his medical school training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After graduation he moved back to the UK to complete his Foundation Years in the NHS in Devon, before being allocated a place on the GP training scheme here in Gloucestershire, where he completed his final year as a Registrar at Overton Park.
He now works as a GP both here and in Choice+ clinics across the county.

Dr Laura Pritchard (f)

GP Registrar.


Dr Prichard qualified at University College London in 2008. She completed her Foundation Training at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and went on to do Core Surgical Training in the West Midlands. She spent a further three years in London working in ENT/Head & Neck before starting the GP training scheme in Gloucestershire.

Dr Yasmin Langford-Wells (f)

MBChB (Manchester 2012), MPH (distinct), DCH, DTM&H

GP Registrar.


Dr Langford-Wells qualified from the University of Manchester Medical School and undertook a Masters degree in Public Health. She worked in Oxfordshire, London and the Channel Islands before joining the GP training scheme in Gloucestershire, and Overton Park in August 2017. Her special interests include paediatrics and preventive medicine through nutrition and lifestyle. Outside the surgery she enjoys extending her role as a doctor at sports events and in maritime medicine.

Dr Suzanna Lake qualified at the University of Birmingham in 2014. She completed her foundation training in Bristol before starting the GP training scheme in Gloucestershire.
