Dr Stuart Nelson (m)  – GP Partner
MBBS (London 1983), DCH, DRCOG.DFFP, FRCGP.

Dr Nelson qualified at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1983. He joined the Practice in 1989 and is the senior partner, a GP trainer and appraiser. Dr Nelson has a special interest in Diabetes and was appointed a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in November 2005. He is the current Treasurer of Gloucestershire GP Educational Trust.

Dr Thomas Morgan (m) – GP Partner
MBBS (London 1992), DRCOG, MRCGP.

Dr Morgan qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London in 1992. He worked as a GP Partner in Fleet, Hampshire for 6 years before moving to Gloucestershire. He joined Overton Park Surgery in 2005. Dr Morgan is a trained endoscopist and holds a Clinical Assistant post in Endoscopy at Gloucester Royal Hospital.

Dr Rachael Coker (f) – GP Partner
MBChB (Birmingham 2002), MRCGP,DCH, DRCOG, DFFP

Dr Coker qualified at Birmingham University in 2002. She moved to Cheltenham in 2003 and joined the local GP training scheme. She spent her registrar year at Overton Park Surgery. Dr Coker is interested in all aspects of General Practice, especially Paediatrics.

Dr Daniel Fox (m) – GP Partner
MBBS (London 2009)

Dr Fox studied at St Georges Medical School, London on the graduate-entry scheme. He moved to Cheltenham for GP training in 2011 and spent his registrar (final) year at Overton Park Surgery. Now he is fully qualified as a GP we are delighted to have Dr Fox with us as a permanent member of the Overton Park Surgery Team. Dr Fox has an interest in Dermatology and will be holding cryotherapy and minor surgery clinics at the practice.

Dr Michael Williams (m) – GP Partner
BSc MBBCh MRCGP

Dr Williams completed his medical school training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After graduation he moved back to the UK to complete his Foundation Years in the NHS in Devon, before being allocated a place on the GP training scheme here in Gloucestershire, where he completed his final year as a registrar at Overton Park. Dr Williams was a salaried GP with the surgery but is now a GP partner.

He now works as a GP both here and in Improved Access clinics across the county.

Dr Sarah Macrow (f) – GP Partner
MRCGP 2013, DROG 2008, MBChB with honours (Bristol) 2007

Dr Macrow qualified from the University of Bristol in 2007. She spent time at Overton Park Surgery as a junior doctor in 2008 before returning on a permanent basis at the end of 2015. Dr Macrow enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in working with our more elderly patients. She is also interested in medical education and runs some clinics alongside medical students.

Dr Caroline Copps (f) – Salaried GP
MBChB (Sheffield 1990), DRCOG.DFFP, DIP.THER.

Dr Copps qualified at Sheffield University in 1990. She worked as GP partner in Cardiff for 5 years before moving to Cheltenham in 2001 to join Overton Park Surgery. Dr Copps is interested in all aspects of general practice and Pharmacology.

Dr Trudy Christmas (f) – Salaried GP
MBBS (London 1996), BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG.DFFP.

Dr Christmas works 1.5 days a week as a salaried GP. She qualified at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1996. Dr Christmas moved to Cheltenham in 1997 and joined the local GP training scheme, spending her registrar year at Overton Park Surgery. She work 3 sessions a week at the surgery and is interested in all aspects of General Practice.

Dr Amanda Porter (f) – Salaried GP
MBBS (London) 1995, BSc, MRCGP, FRCA, DRCOG

Dr Porter qualified at St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1995. After a number of years working as an Anaesthetist, she changed career to GP. She completed the Gloucestershie GP training scheme and joined Overton Park Surgery in December 2008 as a GP retainer working 3 sessions per week. She is interested in all aspects of general practice.

Dr Beth Mcintyre
MBBS (London 2013), BA, MRCGP, DRCOG

Dr Beth McIntyre qualified in 2013 after studying at Oxford University and Kings College University. She completed her foundation training in Bristol and then spent a year working in emergency medicine in Perth, Australia. She moved to Cheltenham in 2016 to undertake her GP training in Gloucestershire. She spent her final year of GP training at Overton Park Surgery. Dr McIntyre enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in social prescribing.
